I love the Christmas season as much as the next guy but the season is over and it’s time to shut those outdoor Christmas lights off . You don’t have to climb up on a ladder and take your life in your hands trying to take the lights down , just don’t turn them on. Do you still have a jack-o-lantern on your front steps ? No you don’t ( I hope), so why would you still have your Christmas lights on ? Having said that, I must admit I did find an Easter egg under a bookcase in my living room in November. What do you think about this situation ? Am I just being a Scrooge? Drop me a line and let me know , I would love to hear from you !

I believe that those who still have there lights on do so to have the spirit of Christmas still in there hearts. They share the caring and love shared by so many at and during the season, they want to hold on to this time and enjoy the comfort it brings. Also the feeling of having a decorated home to share with others and bring smiles to all who walk and drive by.
