I didn’t know. So I asked Dennis, a metaphysical reader. Here’s what he told me:

Today is my birthday and I just wanted to thank Larry McIntosh for his warm birthday wishes.  After logging into Facebook this afternoon, this is what came up on the right hand side of my screen:

Nobody gave me a carrot cake.  But I hate carrot cake.

I found this early Christmas present on the side of my car this morning.  I just love not having a parking spot and always having to find one on the street every night.  I didn’t really care though (it’s an old man’s car and if I didn’t own it, I’d probably egg it too) but here’s my question… Who carries an egg around in the winter?  Honestly, that was my first thought.  Who carries an egg in the winter???

You know, this guy…I don’t know how he does it.  He seems to be everywhere at once!  I’ve seen him at the mall, I’ve seen him on the street (I’m pretty sure) and tonight I got to meet him at a pizza party that Pay and I went to.  A few lucky folks won a contest on the show and we all went out to CanadInn’s Winter Wonderland at The Red River Ex, where we were treated to some hot chocolate, mini donuts and a sleigh ride!

It…was…cold.

My cameraman Chris and I came across this toy monkey at the “infomercial store”.  At $19.99 I almost traded in the Snuggie straight up.

I personally found this shot hilarious but I didn’t know where to fit it into my “gift wrapping” video that aired Thursday morning.

Today I found this on my desk:

It would appear that my co-workers are getting used to me.  Nothing seems to phase them anymore.

Well here it is again, December. With the excitement the holiday season brings it also triggers the ” I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO AND LITTLE TIME TO DO IT ALL” !  The shopping, decorating, baking and cleaning ( the best way to get the house clean is to have relatives come for the holidays) but this year I’m not going to panic…who am I kidding, of course I’m going to panic. I did manage to get the Christmas lights up on the house without killing myself or blowing any fuses this year, so far anyways. I will really make an effort to get my shopping done early instead of hitting 7 eleven on Christmas eve as per usual. I’m also a fan of saying ” Merry Christmas” instead of “Happy Holidays”, people have tried to correct me but it’s just the way it is…I’m old school that way. Well I’m off to get a jump start on my Christmas shopping, and this year I will not buy something for myself…yeah right.
